Launched in 2004, “Biz Week” became a regular fixture in the calendar though a withdrawal of public funding in 2010 suggested that it would come to an end. Upon hearing this, eskimosoup agreed to help run Humber Business Week on a voluntary basis as Communications Partner along with Hull and East Yorkshire Community Foundation as central coordinator and a steering group of volunteers.




eskimosoup took on the communications including a centralised website with booking system, brochure, print and display design, social media, PR and hosting a series of promotional and educational events.

After 4 years as Communications Partner, eskimosoup have for 2015 stood aside to enable another PR agency gain the positive exposure and contacts it has afforded us whilst our Managing Director has remained a proactive member of the Business Week steering group.




Heading into its 11th year, Humber Business Week is Europe’s longest running festival of business and is attended by thousands of people each year. 

Every year we reflect with the volunteer steering group and say, “wow, that was awesome!”

Humber Business Week is a very special event that educates, inspires and showcases the very best of business in the region. Now is a very exciting time for the area for various reasons and it is with great pride that we’ve had a key role in the ongoing partnership work embraced through Humber Business Week which is a vital element of the area’s success.
